  1. Exit 5 Falls Road.
  2. Take Falls road towards Potomac. Drive 5 miles past Potomac Vil­lage intersection.
  3. Go 1 mile and just after the blink­ing yel­low light of the fire depart­ment, turn left onto Oak­lyn Drive.
  4. After 1/2 mile after pass­ing a small bridge look for the gray and white build­ings on the right hand side.
  5. After the sign turn into dri­ve­way 10310 and drive to the bot­tom of the hill.
  6. The tem­ple is a white build­ing on the right hand side.

From Wash­ing­ton DC

  1. Take George Wash­ing­ton Park­way to 495 towards Maryland.
  2. Get on the 495 beltway.
  3. Exit 39 — River Road and fol­low signs to Potomac.
  4. After 3 miles you will come to Potomac Vil­lage, turn left at the traf­fic light onto Falls Road.
  5. Go 1 mile and just after the blink­ing yel­low light of the fire depart­ment, turn left onto Oak­lyn Drive.

Pub­lic Transportation

Take the T2 Metro or Ride-On bus from either the Rockville or Freind­ship Heights Metro sta­tions on the Red Line and get down at Potomac Vil­lage at the cor­ner of Falls and River roads in Potomac, Mary­land. Head south­west on Falls Rd .9 mile, left at Oak­lyn Dr .7 mile to tem­ple on right.

Tem­ple Begins Sun­day Shut­tle Ser­vice Effec­tive Jan­u­ary 17, 2010, the Tem­ple will pro­vide free shut­tle ser­vice on Sun­day after­noon and evening for vis­i­tors who need help get­ting to/from the local Metro and Bus Stops. Every Sun­day after­noon at 4:15 PM and 5:15 PM, a Tem­ple mini­van will pickup those need­ing a ride from Potomac Vil­lage (the local bus stop one mile from the Tem­ple) in front of the Safe­way Store at the cor­ner of River Road and Falls Road. To access the Shut­tle, take the T2 bus to Potomac Vil­lage Bus Stop. (This bus runs from the Friend­ship Heights and Rockville Metro Sta­tions.) Walk across the park­ing lot to the front of the Safe­way Store on River Road. The Tem­ple van will be there to pick you up at 4:15 and will return for a sec­ond pickup at 5:15 PM. For the return trip–because there is no bus ser­vice after 7 PM from Potomac–the van will take rid­ers from the Tem­ple directly to the Friend­ship Heights Metro Sta­tion in Chevy Chase. The van will leave the Tem­ple at 7:15 and 8:15 PM. No reser­va­tions are required for either direc­tion. The vehi­cle will be a white Chevro­let mini-van with signs iden­ti­fy­ing it as the Hare Krishna Tem­ple shut­tle. The tim­ings, again, are as fol­lows: Leav­ing Potomac Vil­lage Every Sun­day at 4:15 PM and 5:15 PM Meet directly in front of the Safe­way Store (River Road and Falls Road) Leav­ing the Tem­ple for Friend­ship Heights Metro Every Sun­day at 7:15 PM and 8:15 PM Meet in front of the Tem­ple Main Entrance.
